Pontefract Collieries FC are pleased to invite your team to participate in our Junior Football Tournament this year, on Saturday 19th June 2010.

We are also very pleased to announce that the venue for the day will be our home ground at Beechnut Lane, Pontefract. This tournament really is a fantastic opportunity for teams to play in an excellent tournament on first class pitches (as played on by the NCEL first team).

The venue also provides the advantage of parents being able to watch from the stand or pitch-side terraces, allowing the young players to play without distraction.

This will be one of the biggest Under 7’s Tournaments in the area with around 24 Teams participating.

The format of the tournament is 6 A-side with two subs. There will be a number of family activities on the day as well as refreshments available on site

Sat 28th Aug under 8’s - 10’s - 14’s

Sun 29th Aug under 7’s - 9’s - 12’s

Age groups based on Forthcoming Season 2010/2011

 

All age groups are 7 aside mini soccer + 3 subs

£25 1 team or 2 teams £45 (same age group only)

Squad Size: - Entrance Fees: - Each team may consist of no more than the max squad side listed. Roll on/off subs at all times

 

Entertainment mini gala stalls, rides, face painting, food, bouncy castles, and professional photography,

Wrangbrook licensed Clubhouse, Toilets, Much More!!!

 

White Rose First Aid in attendance throughout

 

Qualified and neutral experienced junior football referees will be appointed in all matches wherever possible

Trophies: - Unlike most other tournaments we will be awarding all age group Winners and Runner Ups with an Individual Club Trophy that is Non-Returnable along with Individual Player Trophies for all finalists per max squad size in attendance

Respect Fair Play Trophy: - The Tony Chappell shields for the most sporting club that are annually returnable and the most prestigious award on each day of the tournament

 

Format: - 2 groups at each age group to contain a maximum of 6 teams with the top 4 from each group going through to

The Ό finals.1st v 4th and 2nd v 3rd from each opposite group facing each other in each Ό final. Teams finishing 5th and 6th in the groups will be eliminated from the tournament. Winning Ό final teams will then play semi final knock out football.

Due to previous year’s success and per age group along with our club continuing commitment to present both club and individual player trophies to both Winners & Runner Up teams we anticipate a huge immediate uptake so places will be on a first come basis upon a completed application and payment being received and processed.

Colton Juniors Summer Gala

Saturday 17th July 2010

 

We would like to take this opportunity to invite you to Colton Juniors Football Club Summer Gala & Football Tournament.

  To be held at St Theresa’s primary school, Barwick Road, Leeds 15

 

Ψ     Two Cups per age group for U9s, U10s, U11s and U12s, split into a Grand Final and a Challenge Cup Final Format, which the winners will keep. Every team gets the chance to play in the knockout stages.

Ψ     U6s (mixed fun groups), U7s and U8s played on a friendly round robin basis, with no results recorded. Participation medal for every player.

Ψ     Age groups are as 2009/2010 season.

Ψ     Saturday am U6s, U8s, U10s and U11s, Saturday pm U7s, U9s, U11s and U12’s.

Ψ     All matches will be 6 a-side with a maximum squad size of 8 players.

 

Car Parking, BBQ, Refreshments, Ice creams all available on site.

 

 To enter, please complete the application form and send with the entry fee of £25 per team or £40 for 2 teams in the same age group.  Cheques payable to “Colton Juniors Football Club”. Down loadable entry forms available on our website www.coltonjuniorsfc.co.uk

 

Places are limited so please return your entries early to avoid disappointment. Teams will be entered on a first paid first entered basis.

 

Clubs can enter up to 2 teams at each age group.
