Football Tournament this year, on Saturday 19th June 2010.
We are also very pleased
to announce that the venue for the day will be our home ground at Beechnut
Lane, Pontefract. This tournament really is a fantastic opportunity for teams
to play in an excellent tournament on first class pitches (as played on by the
NCEL first team).
The venue also
provides the advantage of parents being able to watch from the stand or
pitch-side terraces, allowing the young players to play without distraction.
This will be one of the
biggest Under 7s Tournaments in the area with around 24 Teams participating.
The format of the
tournament is 6 A-side with two subs. There will be a number of family
activities on the day as well as refreshments available on site

Club Summer Gala & Football Tournament.
To be held at St Theresas primary school,
Barwick Road, Leeds 15
Ψ Two Cups per age group for U9s, U10s, U11s and U12s, split
into a Grand Final and a Challenge Cup Final Format, which the winners will
keep. Every team gets the chance to play in the knockout stages.
Ψ U6s (mixed fun groups), U7s and U8s played on a friendly
round robin basis, with no results recorded. Participation medal for every
player.
Ψ Age groups are as 2009/2010 season.
Ψ Saturday am U6s, U8s, U10s and U11s, Saturday pm U7s, U9s,
U11s and U12s.
Ψ All matches will be 6 a-side with a maximum squad size of
8 players.
Car Parking, BBQ, Refreshments, Ice creams all available
on site.
To
enter, please complete the application form and send with the entry fee of £25
per team or £40 for 2 teams in the same age group. Cheques payable to Colton Juniors Football Club. Down loadable
entry forms available on our website www.coltonjuniorsfc.co.uk
Places are limited so please return your entries early to
avoid disappointment. Teams will be entered on a first paid first entered
basis.
Clubs can enter up to 2 teams at each age group.
