Notes
for Guidance of Teams making Semi-Final and Final Appearances.
1. The fixtures are played on neutral grounds, loaned to the
League through one of its member clubs or
alternately by one of our good friends outside the
league. The clubs are therefore
requested to treat the changing facilities, ground and management staff with the utmost courtesy.
2. Parking of vehicles, valuables, football kit etc. are the
responsibility of the competing teams. Please ensure that access to the ground and playing area can be
obtained by an Ambulance.
3. Smoking in changing rooms is not allowed.
4. The teams shall arrive at the venue 30 minutes prior to
the kick-off time and report to the League Official. Players should conduct themselves in an orderly manner
and stay together as a unit.
5. Five days prior to the fixture the
competing clubs shall check each others playing colours and in the event of a
clash both teams shall change.
6. Each team shall supply a match ball which shall be handed
to the referee prior to the game. The referee will make it his responsibility
to return the match ball at the end of the fixture.
7. Prior to the game commencing the referee should be
consulted regarding fees and clubs should settle the account.
8. The referee should be consulted regarding boot checks and
all players are to remain in the dressing rooms until clearance has been given.
9. It is the responsibility of the competing teams to check
players registration cards and clubs should conduct this exercise in an
orderly fashion prior to kick-off.
10. The result of the
match shall be given to the Results Secretary by the winning team as soon as
possible after the fixture. In the event of a drawn game both clubs
shall phone in the result.
11. The rules of the cup
competitions are all as listed in the Rules Book, pages A,B and C
inclusive. Extra time is not always possible due to two fixtures being
completed on the same day. The
management member present at the fixture will
decide if extra time is possible on the day of the match.
12. All persons, with the
exception of the team manager and first aid person shall remain behind the barriers where present. Any person allowed in
front of the barrier shall either sit in the approved dug-out where provided or
stand in a position so as not to
interfere with the linesman’s duties.
Running up and down the touchlines will not be allowed.
13. Clubs competing in
SEMI-FINALS shall take collections on behalf of the League. The proceeds of which shall be notified to the Treasurer as soon as possible.
14. Clubs reaching FINAL
TIES shall provide two gate persons who shall report to the ground 45 minutes
prior to the kick- off. Programs will be sold on behalf of the
League to persons entering the ground.
15. During the course of
the game a RAFFLE will be run and the two competing clubs should provide 2
persons to sell raffle tickets.
16. At the final whistle
clubs should make sure their players are kept together, and the person
responsible for team management
should escort the team to either :
(a) Dressing Rooms.
(b) Presentation Point. (Finals)
17. The winners and
runners -up in each of the competitions will receive 16 individual trophies through the League Secretary. Players
dismissed during the course of the game will only receive a trophy at the
discretion of the League.
Extra trophies may
be ordered.
18. On completion of the
fixture clubs are requested to leave the changing facilities in an acceptable condition by removing all rubbish, mud and litter.
19. A result card should
be completed by the competing teams.
20. Finally . GOOD
LUCK. Remember it takes a lot of hard
work to reach this stage. Enjoy
